Royal India is a family-owned Indian restaurant in Reno, Nevada, with the whole family working together to bring flavorful, fresh Indian cuisine to the community. Bold spices, quality ingredients, and a genuine welcome \u2014 that's been the promise since 2018.
A family affair from the start
Royal India opened in 2018 as a true family affair — Gurjit Atwal managing the front of house, Gurbinder Singh leading the kitchen as chef, and Balbir Singh rounding out the ownership team. That's still exactly how it works today.

Chef Gurbinder Singh fires the tandoor for signature dishes like Seekh Kabob — minced chicken with herbs and spices baked on skewers — alongside a wide menu of curries, breads, vegetarian dishes, and a full bar.

"We consider each guest to be as important as the next" — that's straight from the owners, and regulars feel it. Guests consistently note that staff remember their names and help them find their next favorite dish.
Dine in, carry out, or celebrate
The dining room is open every day for lunch and dinner, carry-out is always an option, and the on-site party hall fits 50–60 guests for birthdays, graduations, baby showers, and more.
